  • 15 hours of small group morning classes on Practical French and French culture
  • 4 cultural activities per week
  • 7 students maximum per class (minimum 4, maximum 7)
  • Minimum level required: intermediate

Is your goal to learn about the beautiful Loire Valley, as well as improve your French? This program will fit your needs perfectly!

Do not worry about the practical details, everything will be taken care of!

During the mornings; you have 15 hours of French class in a closed group with a program built on your needs. You will improve your French in a cultural and practical context to help you discover the region and learn how to live the French way of life and travel through France.

In the afternoon or evening, we will accompany you to various activities that will have been organized over a 2-week program as indicated below.

Week 1:

  • Historical tour of the city
  • Visit of “Les Halles de Tours” (regional food market) and local food tasting
  • Evening of Wine Tasting
  • Visit of a Loire Valley chateau on Saturday afternoon

Week 2:

  • Guided visit in the city center according to recent cultural events (art, architecture, gardens)
  • Cooking class in the afternoon or evening
  • Visit of a Loire Valley chateau in the afternoon
  • Diner at a restaurant (beverages not included)

    From 29 April to 10 May
    From 4 November to 16 November

    Alternative dates available by request; for groups of 4 or more.

 

Please note that this program is only available for students who have an intermediate (or higher) level of French and requires 4 enrollees minimum to open the program. Do not hesitate to convince your friends to come with you.

If there are less than 4 students enrolled, you will be able to follow our general French program called “Standard Package

  • 7 students maximum per class (minimum 4, maximum 7)
  • Minimum level required: intermediate

Have you developed a passion for French wines and a desire to discover the Loire Valley vineyards? Look no further, this is a wine lovers’ program just for you!

If you don’t have much time and want to devote your week to your passion for wine, this program is perfect for you.  You don’t have to worry about anything, we’ve prepared everything. J

In the afternoon or evening, we will accompany you to various activities that will have been organized over a 2-week program as indicated below.

  • Introduction to the French vineyard (1h30)
  • Wine tasting (2h30)
  • Visit of a cellar and tasting
  • Tasting in a wine bar

Holiday closures

CLE is closed from 1-6 January and 21-31 December.

Public holidays : April 22, May 1st, May 30, June 10, August 15, November 1st an November 11.

Minimum level

Beginner level students will start their courses on January 7, April 1st, July 1st or September 30. For help determining your ability level, please contact us.

All class materials are included in the cost of tuition. Registration fees : 60 €

Please note: 1 lesson = 45 min, thus 20 hours = 26 lessons and 23 hours = 30 lessons.
