Enrollments conditions at CLE

Deposit

To confirm your enrolment, a deposit of € 300 must be paid. This deposit will be deducted from your course fees. The balance is due on the first day of the course. No deposit is required if you pay the entire course fee in advance.

Bank charges are to be paid by the student.

Cancellation and refunds

If we are unable to enrol you in the session of your choice, a full refund of your deposit will be made. If for any reason you have to cancel your enrolment, you must notify CLÉ by registered post. No cancellation will be possible before CLÉ has received this notice.
Cancellation charges are as follows : € 150

  • less than six weeks before the beginning of the course, your deposit is forfeited.
  • once the course has begun, no fees are refunded whatever the reasons.

There are no classes on French national bank holidays. We regret that missed classes are not made-up.

Any person whose attitude is not compatible with CLE may be expelled from the school without reimbursement.

Late arrival

On the first Monday morning of each session, students are required to take a test of their French language abilities. Students arriving late and missing this test, will be charged 50 €.
INSURANCE
Students are reminded that it is their responsibility to arrange for insurance coverage of medical care and other risks. CLÉ will not pay compensation for any loss, damage, or injury suffered under any circumstances.

Number of students

If fewer than 3 students are enrolled at a particular level, that class will meet for 10 hours (1 student) or 15 hours (2 students) each week.
